What content can you expect?
The examination covers material from two seminars:
Seminar: Process Management Basics:
• Components of processes (input, output, process steps, etc.)
• Process model and process map
Seminar: Operational Process Management:
• OPM phases
• Methods of operational process management
• Tasks and responsibilities of the roles
• Change management and associated methods
Exam format
• Written exam (multiple choice), multiple answers permitted
• 35 questions, duration: 60 minutes
• Pass mark: 60 per cent (at least 21 correct answers)
• If the exam is not passed: a one-off retake is possible for a fee

What learning environment is required or what should you bring?
In-person exam: we recommend a quiet room, plenty of space and good lighting.
Online exam: we recommend a stable internet connection, equipment that works properly and a quiet place.
Make sure you have all the necessary materials and documents to hand beforehand.
What prerequisites should you have?
Successful completion of both of the following seminars:
1. Fundamentals of Process Management*
2. Operational Process Management (face-to-face or blended learning)
*This module may be ‘skipped’ if the knowledge covered has been acquired ‘by other means’.
Examples: Part of a degree course, attended in-house training, attended a seminar at another training institute, completed training as a quality assurance officer, etc.
In this case, the BPM&O e-learning course ‘Process Management Basics’ must be completed.
